12:05PM Library on Santa Clara st. Someone outside and inside of the library called 911 to state a man outside was shooting towards another. VPD arrived and could not find either person. No victims were located.

12:22PM 7XX BASALT – An elderly man heard someone in his house and opened a door to see a woman with blue hair and a backpack running way from the house. VPD responded to the scene and arrested Vanessa Morales. CHP met them at VPD with 4 Cars to escort her to jail for yesterdays…

12:44PM Grocery Outlet on Marin st A man and woman were in a dispute outside of the store when the man got into his car and tried to run over the woman. She went into the store and he drove around the store screaming for her to come outside.

VPD located Vanessa Morales-Guerrero (the smurf bandit) and arrested her. She is being turned over to CHP for stealing their Patrol car. We will post her arrest sheet soon. Great job Vallejo Police Department

7:34PM – HUmbolt and tennessee st. A blue 2006 honda CIVIC hit another vehicle and took off leading VPD on a chase around town. 2:10PM A woman was walking in to the store and was robbed for her purse. NO WEAPONS SEEN.

Jan 9th – A home owner notified us that earlier this month a white Lexus slammed into their garage door as a way of entry to the home and stole several items including a laptop. We have heard of this happened again since this incident. Keeping vehicles in your driveway can prevent this. Stay safe.

8:40AM – Red Roof InnVPD got a hit on a stolen vehicle that was in the parking lot of Red Roof Inn. When they arrived there was one person inside that was arrested and the vehicle was given back to its owner. Jonathan Thompson was the person arrested.
