(KRON) — A man who police say stole $900 worth of Legos from a store was arrested Friday night, the Vallejo Police Department said. Officers responded to a reported burglary at a business on the 700 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane.
Officers were advised by VPD dispatch that a man stole approximately $900 worth of Lego sets from the store. Staff at the store provided a detailed description of the suspect. A suspect vehicle, a Hyundai Sonata with a reported stolen license plate, was seen waiting outside.
The Sonata was located traveling west on Redwood Street near Fairgrounds Drive. Officers attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over, police said, and led officers on an 11-mile pursuit.
During the pursuit, a male passenger jumped out of the Sonata while it was traveling at approximately 50 mph.
