Today at approximately 1:45pm, Vallejo Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of Fairgrounds Drive on the report a possible shooting. Upon arrival, no shooting victim was located. It was later determined that the victim (adult male) was self-transporting to a local hospital before flagging down paramedics nearby. The ambulance then transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of an apparent gunshot wound to the lower extremities. The injuries are non-life threatening. Investigation is ongoing.
